The Aero Alliance Avenza Plant EHS Specialist will manage as ASPP (DLGS 81/08) all EHS activities for Avenza facility reporting to Europe EHS Leader/RSPP.
Job Description
The Aero Alliance Avenza Plant EHS Specialist will manage law and compliance EHS requirements to assure the highest EHS standards in the facility acting with sense of urgency to solve problems and to mitigate EHS risks.
Aero Alliance Avenza Plant EHS Specialist will:
Support the EHS Ldr to maintain the integrated safety and environment management system for Italian Legal Entity (ASTI) as per ISO14001 and 45001 standards.
Be responsible for internal auditing program execution/reporting as well for external EHS audits carried out by certified 3rd parties or clients.
Support Avenza site team to identify possible risks and execute corrective/preventive actions according to environmental, health and safety policies procedures.
Manage EHS performances measuring lagging/leading indicators and accordingly defining continous improvement programs/initiatives using company EHS digital tools.
Provide support and guidance to Avenza team to execute continuous improvements programs.
Continuously update Risk Assessments: Job Safety Analysis, Industrial Hygiene, Contractor interferential RA- DUVRI, other risk assessments, following Management of Changes program.
Support team to complete the assigned regulatory and non-regulatory trainings.
Support communication campaigns, EHS talks etc.
Monitor EHS roadmaps and corrective/ improvement actions to ensure timely closure.
Actively work with the EHS Leader to promote and enhance EHS Culture in the organization.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or a technical high school diploma/GED with significant experience in EHS
Knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001 Standard
ASPP module A/B certification
Attitude to face both contingencies and long-term projects.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Clear thinking attitude to match and anticipate internal customer needs.
EU Work Permit
Desired Characteristics
Bachelor's degree in industrial/Mechanical/Safety Engineering is preferred.
Open mindset to learn and promote EHS culture with passion.
Experience in activities of complex plants.
Strong oral and written communication skills (Italian and English).
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to coordinate and execute projects.
