    Position summary

    dership for fuel examination activities at reactor sites

    • Provide field team leadership by understanding the fuel examination process, functional procedures, data acquisition and fuel performance results interpretation

    • Serve as the customer liaison during the fuel examination process

    • Design, implement and maintain the team's quality assurance program including generic procedures and site specific Test Plan and Procedures

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 2 years of commercial nuclear experience

    • OR high school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of experience of commercial nuclear experience

    Eligibility Requirements

    • Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% to domestically and internationally plant sites

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    • Ability to climb 10 flights of stairs twice per day.

    • Ability to pass respirator fit test and physical.

    • Ability to pass Fitness for Duty requirements and site security requirements to obtain unescorted access.

    • Ability to work under high stress conditions.

    • Ability and willingness to work in radiation-controlled and radioactively contaminated areas.

    • Ability and willingness to work 12 hrs./day when needed for project delivery.

    Desired Characteristics

    • Experience with underwater irradiated fuel or balance of plant, inspection techniques

    • Operation of electromechanical measurement systems and data acquisition techniques

    • Possess mechanical aptitude and electronic skills for the operation of sophisticated underwater electromechanical field measurement and TV camera systems.

    • Project management experience

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface at all levels of the organization, and with Utility representatives.

    • Ability to organize and coordinate examination projects to meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule expectations.

    • High level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

    The salary range for this position is $89-115k. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
