The Kalaeloa Cogeneration Plant located in Kapolei, Hawaii is a Combined Cycle and Cogeneration Power Plant, owned by Kalaeloa Partners, L.P., operated and maintained by GE Gas Power Operations & Maintenance. This power plant provides production of approximately 208 megawatts of firm capacity net electrical energy to Hawaiian Electric Company (HECO) as well as approximately a total hourly production of 120,000 pounds of steam at three pressure levels for sale to neighboring a refinery.

As a Gas Power Plant Engineer Intern, we will prepare you for an exciting career, tackling one of the world’s toughest challenges of providing cleaner, more accessible energy.
As a Plant Engineer Intern, you will:

Location: Kapolei, Hawaii
Relocation is not provided for this internship role. Preferred candidates must be from the local area and/or attending a Hawaii University.
Employment Dates:
Must be able to work for 10-12 months a minimum of 20 hours during the school semester up to 40+hours during the summer semester or as school schedule permits.
