Own the supplier quality for the North American organization. Drive quality improvements for suppliers, including quality plan implementation and tracking. Identify new potential suppliers and lead them through qualification processes. Own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards. Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed.
Roles and Responsibilities
Work with sourcing team to complete surveillance audits and new supplier on boarding audits to create stable approved supplier pool
Support business product qualification requirements for build to spec components
Drive supplier containment actions and quality improvements through the NCR Process
Work with sourcing to identify potential new suppliers for strategic development and conduct preliminary audits to understand their capabilities
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
At least 4 years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer or equivalent auditing and qualification experience
Electro-mechanical background in paneling
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
Established project management skills
