Perform machine operations and water flow test for gas turbine blades. This person will report to the Operations Leader.
Job Description
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Set up and operate machines (such as shop peen, cold spray, backflush and moment weighing) as assigned for repairing of gas turbine blades
- (training will be provided for the specialized machines)
- Perform quality check after the process
- Ensure following instructions and comply all quality requirements
- Adhere to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and employee’s EHS responsibilities
- Ensure product quality, equipment care, meet production output/pace, housekeeping and schedules
- Perform tasks as assigned by work leader, supervisor or engineers
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary level or higher education
- NITEC in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred
- 3 years of working experience in the related field is preferred for this position. Candidates without relevant experience will also be considered as on the job training will be provided
- Able to perform rotating shift
