orrespondence relative to work. Acquire considerable knowledge of the process and the relevant mechanical and electrical systems throughout the plant and apply the same to trouble shoot problems and lead the maintenance team in resolving the issue.

• Promote development and succession management in the team.

• Train the subordinates on preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Assist Maintenance Manager in planning and scheduling outage works with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan.

• Assess plant needs for spare parts & supplies and generate material requisitions.

• Co-ordinate with Stores and Procurement for inventory management.

• Control plant inventory via the CMMS system

• Acquire full knowledge of EHS policies & procedures and ensures compliance.

• Evaluate, plan and actively participate in plant housekeeping.

• Assist and co-ordinate with EHS Manager/Supervisor on all EHS activities including implementation of policies/procedures, inspections and audits.

• Ensure compliance in all areas of Health, Safety and Environmental programs and procedures as applicable to the maintenance activities.

• Develop training schedules/plans for the members in the team

• Control all maintenance documents as outlined on the site Master List of Controlled Documents.

• Communicate effectively with managers, peers and team fellows, both verbally and in writing

• Available for emergency on call duties on power plant

Required Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer in Instrumentation & Control from an accredited College or University or equivalent experience

• Major experience in combined cycle power plant O&M experience with minimum three years in team lead position in plant maintenance.

• GE Aero Power Plant Experience is a benefit.

• Experience of costing, planning and managing plant outages

• Prior experience with GE O&M in same capacity is preferred

• Knowledge on Operating Distributed Control Systems & HMI (in best case with Mark VIe).
