The product Engineer “Piping and Construction Engineering” will be responsible for the design, specification and order execution of plant piping and valves, specialities like expansion joints, orifices and other inline components, supports, support steel, insulation and electrical heat tracing. In addition, he will manage the hydrostatic pressure test concepts. He will work together with multiple cross functional teams, suppliers and customers to provide all engineering deliverables and material on-time and in high quality to various global construction sites and customers. The role is a main contributor to ensure smooth construction and commissioning of power plants.
Engineering degree in mechanical process or product engineering
8+ years of experience in an engineering environment, preferably in the Power Sector
Familiar with engineering databases and tools, preferably COMOS and Aveva
Knowledge of design and material standards of ASME and EN
Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate well
Ability to manage global suppliers by adequate communication
Works accurate with reasonable effort; works “result oriented”
Communicates open and direct and listens actively
Ability to stand up well under stress,
