Our programs in GE Power Conversion touch industries such as marine, metals and oil & gas; and involve multidisciplinary teams across Europe and India.
Our NPI Software Development team is looking for a program manager to plan, organize and monitor a range of short and long-term software development programs that utilise both embedded real-time software and PC based software technologies.
Most important responsibilities/tasks
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Own software development programs utilizing proven methodologies in SW Program Management e.g. PMI ACP, Agile/SAFe, PMP etc.
Manage schedule, budget, quality, risks, engineering gate reviews & report respectively
Create and maintain detailed program plans, holding the responsible parties accountable to deadlines, maintaining risk logs, leading project meetings, and providing regular and timely updates to key stakeholders.
Liaise with other stakeholders such as Product leaders and People leaders for everything related to the execution of the software development projects.
Coordinate with other functions including Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and Marketing to identify and mitigate risks related to assigned projects and dept.
