Position summary

Job Description Summary

As a Staff Agile Transformer, your primary focus is to facilitate the SAFe lean-agile practices within an agile release train with the scope of the Contractual Services value stream, platform or enabling team (~ 120 people) using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You will escalate and remove impediments, manage risks, ensure value delivery/outcomes and drive relentless improvement.
You will work with technical leadership and their teams and coach them on an approach to incubate and accelerate the adoption of new technology. You will lead and facilitate workshops as needed to help the software development teams understand their product portfolio as well as coach and mentor them through a framework to accelerate digital product development.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and optimize the flow of value through the ART using standard SAFe practices and tools.
  • Accelerate digital adoption by providing training, coaching, feedback, and advice to software development teams on the Scrum Framework.
  • Facilitate SAFe ceremonies, such as PI planning, Solution Demo and Problem Solving Workshops. Fosters and ensures readiness for events with pre-and post PI planning.
  • Summarize and publish team objectives and risks into Solution/Program objectives and risks.
  • Work with product management, architecture, operations and stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment.
  • Drive operational alignment across key stakeholders, including other Technical Service teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or other related area required.
  • 5 plus years progressive experience with the agile framework
  • 2 plus years of scaled agile framework or Scrum

Desired Characteristics

  • Dynamically adapt to fluid situations to deliver the intended results
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to form productive relationships quickly and create the spheres of influence required for transformational changes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Technical Expertise:

  • Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist Certified
  • Proficiency in tools such as Rally, Jira, Smartsheet

** Remote Location will be considered.
