    Position summary

    Job Description Summary

    The Steam Power Global HR Operations Specialist will be the go-to expert on the Time & Attendance (T&A) system that is used in Steam Power across multiple regions by a group of Field Service Employees. You will address Employees’ queries related to the tool and its payments and will ensure Time and Premiums inputs are provided in a timely manner to Payroll to secure employees are paid correctly.
    The Global HR Operations Specialist will also support the HR Operations agenda through processes and projects. This will involve providing HR Bowler reporting support, contribute to process improvement and partner with the HR Operations and Steam Power HR Team on key projects.
    In this role, the candidate will report to the Steam Power HR Operations & Analytics Leader and will be working in collaboration with the country HR and People Operations teams as well as the IT and Finance teams.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Lead the pre-payroll activities by ensuring timesheets are approved, errors are cleared, locking the T&A system, run the pre-payroll file, run the payroll file & wage equalization file within the current period cut-off date
    • Respond to Employees’ inquiries in a timely, effective manner
    • Raise defects or new system’s configuration requests to the IT team, participate to relative implementations and perform testing
    • Partner with the Business HR and People Operations to resolve payroll challenges
    • Secure Employees’ personal data are properly imported by the T&A systems from Workday (incl. also identification of new hires to be added to the system)
    • Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding employee pay records and documents
    • Manage multiple reports and provide to management or external parties as needed
    • Educate, train and assist employees with T&A procedures
    • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities to ensure tool & processes improvements
    • Provide global HR reporting, data analysis & HR metrics (i.e. HC forecasts, attrition, ..) – partnering with and advising HR teams & business leaders to take decisions based on data
    • Develop your expertise on Workday and become a reliable coach for our HR teams

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree is a plus
    • English proficiency
    • Previous Work Experience in Payroll, reporting and process management
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other productivity tools
    • Experience with Workday
