• Provide technical support to applications implementation, integration and support.
Act with a sense of urgency. Are responsible for the quality of the support to global customers.
Meet the service level agreements and KPI's for support cases/tickets.
Contribute towards application implementation and validation.
• Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with peers and team members as an inclusive team member, supporting integration strategy, services support efforts and project execution.
• Effectively apply GE Vernova Grid software execution methodology and project standards.
• Maintain & continuously update technical skills and knowledge.
• Work independently as well as part of the team.
Eligibility Requirements:
Bachelor's Engineering Degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in product support/ customer support in software applications/products.
• Strong background in distributed energy resources software applications, or other industrial software enterprise solutions
• Proficiency in software engineering tools and processes in general, specifically in object-oriented analysis, design, and development (e.g. Python, Kubernetes, Java, microservices architecture)
• Experience in developing software in an agile environment. (e.g. scrum, continuous integration, test driven development)
Understanding of tools: Service-Now, JIRA.
Occasional travel may be involved.
Willingness to be flexible with working hours to support global customer needs.
Desired Characteristics:
• Software skills in software analysis, design, methodology, and architecture
• Programming experience in software development with Microsoft Visual Studio / Development tools, Eclipse, Java, or Python programming
• Demonstrated ability to learn new software development practices, languages, and tools
• Strong spoken and written English language skills
• Proficiency in database tools (e.g. PostgreSQL MongoDB) and database modelling
