    Position summary

    shop towards DPU (Defect per Unit) and COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) reduction

    • Contribute to workstation audits, findings resolution and standard creation

    • Perform incoming inspection and verify documentation accuracy on vendor repaired parts

    Qualifications / Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree, Engineering is preferred, or high school diploma with proven experience in manufacturing operations, or equivalent experience.

    • Proven experience in turbine assembly would be appreciated

    • GE products and Quality tools knowledge nice to have

    • Willing to working on (day) shifts

    • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally

    • Good communications skills and results oriented

    • Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken

    Desired Characteristics

    • Strong interpersonal skills

    • Experience reading and interpreting Engineering Drawings

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

    • Strong attention to details

    • Ability to bring assignments to a successful completion

    • Energetic self-starter, capable of working with minimum supervision
