Test and audit the JV's internal controls and communicate results to leadership (e.g. Standard Costing, Pcard, RevRec, etc.)
Actively maintain ownership of Delegation of Authority & policy updates
Efficiency Improvements & Collaboration
Identify risk, process gaps, and opportunities for efficiency improvements across the organization
Collaborate with various departments to develop strategies for improving operational workflows while minimizing costs
Liaison & support finance team and operational departments ,by providing Controllership guidance on U.S. GAAP, Compliance regulations and Internal Controls, as well as in the development and implementation of strategies aimed at improving process
Special Projects & Inventory
Lead special projects aimed at operational innovation that help enhance efficiency and compliance
Analyze operational data and reports to identify trend, process gaps, risk, and opportunities
Lead Annual Physical Inventory for the US segments, and AEO PP&E Tooling
Evaluation SMI/Obso, and Specific Reserve, for the JV
Cycle Count monitoring and quarterly in person sample audits for DSV location
Draft JV-Channel Partner business agreements for special topics, as needed
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, in Accounting or Finance (Master's or CPA preferred)
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in controllership or financial operational role, with at least 3 years in a controller capacity.
Strong Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS
Desired Skills:
Strong understanding of operational processes, internal controls and compliance standards
Proficiency in Oracle, FCCS, Excel
Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex financial data
Excellent communication and leadership skills
