Review the terms and conditions and Contract schedule activities for compliance with the overall project execution
Advise the Project Manager / Project Director of any improvements to the schedule especially where they might be required by the Contract for use as evidence in any later claims for extension of time;
Assist the Project Manager / Project Director in the maintenance of the Contract schedule so as to manage the budget and cost to complete.
Monitor and advise the Project Manager / Project Director of any specific notice received or to be sent to the client/ subcontractor
Prepare Contract/Subcontract notices based on events impacting the project
Provision of notice in compliance with the requirements of the Contract
Preparation/review, of correspondence with customers, partners, subcontractors and/or suppliers;
Development, drafting, submission and negotiation of Claims and Variation Orders:
Review and update the risk & opportunity register and analyze the progress of actions to avoid risks and identify any potential claim
Monitor the progress of all claims/Variation orders to ensure that they proceed in accordance with the process required by the Contract/Subcontract.
Monitor the progress of payment of all claims/Variation orders to ensure that they proceed in accordance with the process required by the Contract.
Lead and manage contract amendments have been issued and executed.
On time submission of progress claims.
Other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, commercial, or legal fields.
Minimum of 7 years of experience managing large scale construction and or civil contracts.
Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time
