    Instrumentation Engineer(NPI)

    Job Description

    What impact you'll make:

    In support of the GE Vernova's mission, you will design and implement control solutions that have meaningful impact on people's lives and enable the transformation of the energy sector. You will be empowered, work in a scaled agile environment, and have the opportunity to drive meaningful change and continuous improvement using Lean principles. You will have a complete life cycle experience from initial concept development through detail design, implementation, and upgrades, working with over 1000 global engineers with a single purpose: deliver the cleanest, most efficient power to our customers.

    What You'll Do:

    • Assist in the design, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic circuits and systems

    • Participate in prototyping and validating new electronic components

    • Drive component selection

    • Contribute to documentation of designs, testing procedures, and project progress

    • Support senior engineers in analysing system performance and implementing improvements

    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics into larger systems

    • Ability to take ownership of small and medium sized tasks

    • Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness

    What You'll Bring:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Electrical Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering

    What Will Make You Stand Out:

    • Internship or co-op experience in electronics design or development

    • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in electronics engineering

    • Experience with testing and debugging electronic systems.

    • Ensures understanding of issues and presents clear rationale. Able to speak to mutual needs and win-win solutions. Uses two-way communication to influence outcomes and ongoing results

    • Identifies misalignments with goals, objectives, and work direction against the organizational strategy. Makes suggestions to course correct

    • Strong oral and written communication skills & interpersonal skills

    • Effective team building and problem solving abilities
