Lead the global industrialization of inspection technologies supporting multiple sites throughout the globe.
Lead using the Lean Methodologies and GE Vernova Leadership Principles
Provide guidance for engineers and specialists in the execution of design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
Recommend approaches to meet the technical and program requirements
Formulate strategy and implement plans to achieve business goals and directives.
Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems
Provide leadership to other personnel and mentor others in the organization
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments using internal organizational tools, engineering, and customer platforms.
Lead or participate in organizational efforts in assigned projects and/or tasks
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree of Science in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university
8 years of progressive experience or prior leadership roles
Willingness and ability to travel both domestic and international 15%
Desired Characteristics
Experience leading a team.
Working knowledge of Inspection Technologies.
Knowledge of special processes, such as brazing, welding, machining, chemical cleaning, coating, and tooling design and manufacturing
Masters degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Business, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
Additional experience in manufacturing, design, component repair for Industrial gas turbine, steam turbines, generators, or Aero engines
Familiarity with manufacturing processes
Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion
Strong oral and written communication skills

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
