    Position summary

    • Enhance factory performance metrics, focusing on cost versus output, across all PT sites.

    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and resource utilization.

    • Work with critical units to improve output in term of hours and units, while controlling and reducing the cost by efficiency means.

    Organizational Assessment and Simplification:

    • Evaluate roles and responsibilities at key PT sites.

    • Lead efforts to simplify and standardize organizational structures, tools, and processes.

    • Share best practices across the network.

    Cultural Development:

    • Establish a culture of accountability and empowerment at all organizational levels.

    • Promote continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving among teams.

    • Promote Lean Mindset and participate in Kaizen events.

    Lead Time Reduction:

    • Identify and implement strategies to reduce lead times in the OTR process, including sourcing, quality, procurement, production and finance.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflow and eliminate bottlenecks.

    IT System Optimization:

    • Lead initiatives to maximize the use of IT systems, reducing manual efforts and redundancies.

    • Facilitate the exchange of best practices for IT system utilization across the organization.

    • Support the implementation of IOT (Internet of things) and Automation.

    Asset Expansion & Utilization:

    • Advocate for offshoring and Lean practices to optimize asset utilization within PT.

    • Drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.

    • Work in line with other functions to optimize capacity expansion in line with Product and Market strategies.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

    • Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a focus on performance improvement and operational excellence.

    • Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.

    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.

    • Experience in organizational assessment ,change management and cost management.

    • Experience in IT systems and their application in manufacturing processes.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    • Ready to travel: appr. 50% travel required
