    Position summary

    o execute business need licensing support.

    Establish and manage relationships with regulators stakeholders and industry working groups. Review, approve and submit documents to regulators and industry working groups. Occasional travel is required. The role is in Regulatory Affairs and reports to the General Manager of Nuclear Programs.

    Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Obtain and maintain GNF/GEH facility licenses (renewals, modifications, permits)

    • Prepare supporting licensing documents (Environmental Report, Emergency, Decommissioning, Material Control, Physical Security Plan, etc.) Also prepare pre-application meetings, agendas, letters of intent, transmittal letters, affidavits, responses to request for information, etc.

    • Documentation & distribution of regulatory documents (Info Notices, Inspection Reports, Certificates, Orders, Correspondence etc.)

    • Payment and tracking of regulatory fees

    • Interface and logistics for regulatory inspections

    • Digitization of licensing records

    • Maintenance of licensing web pages

    • Obtain & Maintain NRC/DOT packaging documents

    • Regulatory required posting notices

    • Generate & distribute periodic regulatory status reports

    • Support other sites licensing as needed

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited university or college.

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in nuclear regulated design, operations or licensing.

    • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership/management role with significant scope and responsibility.

    • Experience working with regulatory, governmental agencies.

    • Working knowledge of 10 CFR Parts 2,19, 20. 37, 40, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74 and 95

    • Assesses potential impacts of regulatory landscape on business and customers.

    • Strong business and financial acumen.

    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills including facilitation.

    • Ability to work effectively with senior executives.

    • Strong oral and written communication skills.

    • Clear, credible communicator on technical issues.

    • Strong program / project management skills.

    • PC proficiency.
