    Position summary

    Dans son rôle, le chef de projet Services devra :

    • En collaboration avec le directeur des ventes et le leader régional Services, participer à la stratégie commerciale de développement des activités Services.

    • Effectuer des visites de sites, des réunions avec les clients, écouter les besoins des clients et être prêt à détecter les problèmes des clients et à promouvoir les solutions techniques adéquates

    • Délivrer la proposition commerciale et technique des Services avec le support de l'équipe régionale Services

    • Être le chef de projet pour diriger l'exécution du travail de services en ce qui concerne l'engagement en matière de temps, de qualité et de coûts.

    • Établir une relation solide et une intimité avec le client GE tout en démontrant le succès dans l'exécution des travaux

    • GE fournit des services de haute qualité à des clients situés à travers le monde et l'employé(e) doit être capable de fournir des services d'une manière efficace alignée sur les normes d'excellence de l'entreprise

    Qualifications requises:

    • Baccalauréat d'une université ou d'un collège accrédité en génie mécanique ou électrique ou en administration des affaires

    • Expérience professionnelle minimum de 7 ans incluant :

      • expérience en gestion de projet (projets de petite taille/projets accélérés/projets de services)
      • expérience dans l'industrie des machines tournantes
      • expérience en négociation client
    • Capacité et volonté de se rendre aux centrales hydroélectriques 30 % du temps

    Qualifications souhaitées :

    • Expérience dans un rôle commercial ou dans un rôle de développement de propositions commerciales

    • Une expérience en ingénierie ou en opérations sur le terrain est appréciée

    • La connaissance des clients Hydro de la région est appréciée

    The Services Project Manager is responsible to identify and/or respond and manage the Service needs of Hydro Power Plant owners within the geographical area covered by the hub location. Transactional service activities, also called Plant Support activities, are the services provided to Hydro Power Plants such as Spare Parts, Technical Assistance, Condition Assessment, Maintenance and Repairs. Related products are mainly Hydro Turbine and Generator products.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    The Services Project Manager will report directly to the East services leader.

    During the ITO (Inquiry to Offer) Stage, the plant support project manager will be leading and doing the technical and commercial offer with the support of the hub engineer, the field operation representative and the sourcing representative. The same team will be supporting the Services Project Manager to deliver the service job during the (Order to Remittance) Stage.

    In his role, the Services project manager will :

    • In collaboration with the sales manager and Services regional leader, be part of the commercial strategy to develop Services activities

    • Conduct site visits, client meetings, listen to customer needs and be ready to detect client issues and promote the adequate technical solutions

    • Deliver Services commercial and technical proposal with the support of the Services regional team

    • Be the project manager to drive the execution of the services job with respect to time, quality, and costs commitment

    • Build strong relationship and intimacy with GE client while demonstrating success in the execution of the jobs

    • GE provides high-quality services to customers/clients located across the globe and the employee must be able to provide services in an efficient manner aligned with the standards of excellence of the company

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in mechanical or electrical engineering or business administration

    • Minimum 7 Years professional experience including :

      • experience in Project management (small size/fast track projects/services projects)
      • experience in rotating machines industry
      • experience in customer negotiations
    • Ability and willingness to travel to Hydro Power Plants 30% of the time

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience in a commercial role or commercial proposal development role

    • Engineering or Field Operation experience is valued

    • Knowledge of the Hydro customers in the area is valued
