    Position summary

    • Leads a contract management community that is responsible and accountable for the mitigation of contractual and commercial risks across Hydro Power.

    • Reviews CM resource levels within their Region to ensure the proper level of resource for current and future needs.

    • Operationally, directly manages a portfolio of projects, ensuring timely execution and compliance with contractual obligations

    • Identifies and drives contractual and commercial opportunities (customer, partner and supplier), monitoring progress throughout the project lifecycle in alignment with Hydro Power business objectives.

    • Formulates and implements processes to ensure timely submission of notices, variation orders and and claims (customer, partner and supplier).

    • Personally oversees the development of commercial strategies and directly supports negotiations of significant risks and opportunities. Drafts, prepares and negotiates claims, amendments, and settlement agreements effectively (customer, partner and supplier) in alignment with Hydro Power business objectives.

    • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, Engineering, C&C, Sourcing, to align contract strategies with business objectives and project requirements.

    • Establishes and maintains a contract repository, ensuring all contracts are properly stored, organized and accessible.

    Required Qualifications

    • This role requires significant experience in Contract Management.

    • Experience with managing a global team.

    • Degree in Engineering, Law, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited university or college

    • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
