Provide blade technical expertise for fleet issues (Root Cause Analysis).
Perform structural design analysis for new load configurations and site-specific loads. assessment. Provide technical report to 3rd party certification body.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement on the blade product - drive them through as projects.
Develop models and pre-test predictions as part of wind blade validation.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Composites Engineering, or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years in design or production engineering (wind industry preferred)
Ability and willingness to travelling, no more than 25% of time
Desired Characteristics
Experience with structural design or manufacturing of composite material structures
Languages: English
Well organized, self-driven, able to work and complete tasks independently and on time
Product development experience strongly preferred, including knowledge of Composite Structures (design and failure modes)
Basic CAD and Structural finite element analysis skills preferred
Basic project management skills with demonstrated ability in managing projects across functions
Pragmatic approach and proven ability to analyze data
Able to clearly communicate, convince, motivate and inspire others
Able to work in a multi-cultural team
Well organized, self-driven, able to work and complete tasks independently and on time
Experience applying Lean or Six Sigma Tools
Advanced degree in Engineering or equivalent

The base pay range for this position is $88,600.00 - 125,000 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus.
