This role under the lead of GSC senior finance leader will be responsible for supporting Plant Manager to execute on overall Factory strategy including component purchasing strategy, material purchase price variance (PPV) follow up and optimization.
The successful candidate will be accountable for driving site productivity programs including cost-out initiatives to manage overall cost structure, providing accurate product actual costs thus reference costs - the basis of the transfer price with regions, and taking necessary actions to improve free cash flow in the factory.
This includes reducing inventories, optimizing cash disbursement, and new product investments.
Other responsibilities in Stafford GSC finance include:
Fully accountable for Factory Income statement, balance sheet and free cash flow statement
Provide financial leadership to establish and achieve Site financial goals and objectives
Lead the development and implementation of all financial planning cycles from 3 year long-term strategy, annual budget, to quarterly / monthly forecasts
Maintain / improve a sustainable financial measurement and reporting system at site level, which provides management with appropriate information.
Serve as a business partner to Plant Manager and your operating team to drive vision, business initiatives, growth and profitability at site level
Provide visibility on profitability by product family and by region
Develop effective operational partnerships to achieve financial objectives
Actively partner with GA GSC Finance Leader, GA controllership and GA RMFs to ensure implementation of and compliance to global processes & policies.
Report and analyze GSC monthly financial performance with current / next quarter forecast
Improve Gross Margin performances by working cross-functionally to manage the direct material, direct labor and overhead within his manufacturing site.
Develop and drive working capital reduction programs to improve working capital turns, including receivables and payables management, inventory reduction
Standardise processes within the plant, lean close process by eliminating 'waste'.
Guarantee the right usage of SAP, in alignment with BL standard guidelines.
Ensure compliance with internal control and procedures in order to minimize business risk at site level
Qualifications / Requirements:
Master's Degree in Business Administration or Finance from an accredited college or university or the same knowledge/experience
Prior experience in Supply Chain Finance Finance function of a manufacturing site within an industrial, multi-functional, and regional organization.
Strong knowledge on SAP
Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize effectively
Established analytical and problem-solving skills
