    Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Independently leading production qualification processes for new parts or changes to previously approved processes.

    • Defining qualification requirements for parts and special processes such as casting, forging, machining, heat treatment, 3D printing, welding, brazing, and coating from a design perspective.

    • Collaborating with Global Supply Chain (GSC) and cross-functional teams to quickly improve and streamline the execution of structural parts, while maintaining quality for our customers.

    • Performing analysis or evaluation of imperfections according to established guidelines, under the guidance of an expert/technical leader, applying engineering knowledge and manufacturing experience.

    • Implementing improvements in technical documentation, manufacturing processes for new parts or enhancing existing ones, and cost reduction.

    • Supporting the design process from the perspective of manufacturability, LEAN principles, and quality.

    • Applying engineering knowledge, education, and experience in the technical industry. Understanding the impact of your work on company goals.

    • Participating in Kaizen events and LEAN workouts organized by the Global Supply Chain.

    • Performing other duties related to project needs

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or another related field.

    • Good knowledge of engineering tools such as Ansys & UG and practical experience

    • Good understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret and create engineering drawings & BoMs

    • Knowledge of the fundamentals of mechanics, dynamics, materials science, manufacturing methods and their application in design and technological issues.

    • Proven technical and problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously under time pressure

    • Relevant engineering work experience
