    Position summary

    ion and tuning of optimization-based software applications.

    • Support troubleshooting and deep analysis of identified issues during system validation and its maintenance when it is live.

    • Interface and develop good relationships with customers and partners for the delivery and maintenance of our solutions.

    • Ensure that quality assurance standards and procedures are followed in all aspects of the implementation.

    • Design Proof of Concept to respond to a technical and specific question on the business

    • Contribute to business development through supporting tendering team for technical proposals and solution demonstrations to customers.

    Qualifications/Requirements -

    • Power systems engineering or software engineering with good knowledge in optimization domain and good electrical grid and electrotechnical knowledge - PhD or master's degree.

    • At least 2 years' experience in the implementation of software solutions including optimization components in Energy Market domain.

    • Strong knowledge on mathematical modeling principles of optimization problems (LP, MIP, QP) required.

    • Good knowledge of the energy market domain (Power exchange, balancing market, flow-based market coupling, flexibility, and congestion management markets) required.

    • Desired programming skills and adaptability to new languages (C++, Python, AIMMS optimization tool...).

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be comfortable exchanging on technical design and engaging in technical discussions with the team (English mandatory, French is a plus).
