• To manage outage/ Value Pack events schedule planning and execution.
• Working with CPMs for NU warranty execution.
• Produce customer management & planning including outage planning-TFA, craft, tooling, pre/post outage meetings, and cost estimation.
• Project Management (Outage, VP's) including on job cost tracking, productivity/ P6 implementation, and manage execution risk/FMEA.
• Drive review and improvement of On Time Delivery, Outage Cost & Productivity. Update and maintain CDSi file, control manhour cost and pacing.
• Support ITO & CPMs for project quotation including work scope, site condition check, preliminary safety and risk analysis to identify potential issues or obstacles and to minimize cost impact for site execution.
• Organize outage readiness review, ensuring proper execution document are prepared (QCP, Field Procedures, EHS, others), prepare event report and conduct post outage review.
• Supports sourcing and RFQ for internal/external suppliers needs for the project, project scheduling, detail execution planning, safety and risk analysis, logistics, documentation, customer meeting and local regulation compliance.
• To build execution database to improve productivity for future project.
• Working with web systems applications such as EV/FV Field Services Portal, etc. for proper planning and forecasting on labor, tooling, vendor management.
• Coordinate the technical communications between customer engineering staff and GE Engineering and
assist expediting engineering supports.
• Be on site during the emergency situations and investigate/escalate site issues.
• Respond to forced outages for quick response time and necessary resources to restore the site unit to operating conditions in a timely manner.
• Conduct technical communication to customer staff on unit operations and maintenances, new technology and new products.
• Provide supports to China engineering station program, including data collections & analysis of unit operations, generating unit operations report, communications with GE M&D center etc.
Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent
• 5 years of experience with turbine installation, maintenance or manufacturing/repairing processes
• PC proficiency, web applications including advanced Excel skills
• Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
• Good knowledge of GE gas/steam turbines and generators
