    Position summary

    irect leadership and/or management of project resources that may include installation, commissioning, maintenance, support and training services.

    • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.

    • Creating project schedule and procurement plan to ensure smooth project execution in timely manner with quality within cost.

    • Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking.

    • Providing cost-effective execution of project milestones in accordance with contract specifications and quality standards to maintain and improve project margin.

    • Identifies and evaluates risk and opportunity assessments and ensuring implementation of resulting actions in one's area of responsibility.

    • Preparing and presenting Project Management Review to management

    • Managing and coordinating with customers/contractors in project execution in line with GE project management handbook.

    • Executing projects in accordance with GE Grid process and core values of safety and integrity.

    • Delivering Project Financial results: Sales & Margin, billing and cash collection.

    • Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

    • Report/resolve any non-conformances and process in a timely manner.

    • Demonstrate EHS and compliance ensuring Zero Deviation.

    • Identifies and evaluate EHS and compliance risks and proposes practical measures.

    • Ensures project costs (estimates and actuals) are accurately reported. Responsible for monitoring progress and producing accurate projections.

    • Liaise with the finance team to ensure project reporting and accounting is in accordance with Company guidelines.

    • Analyze execution performance of project(s) and propose action plans to improve financial profile and mitigate identified risks.

    Required Qualifications

    • M.Sc. of Electrical Engineering degree or similar.

    • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Project Management.

    • MANDATORY: Proficiency level in Portuguese and English.

    • Ability to deliver results under pressure to meet tight timeline.

    • Strong sense of responsibility.

    • Willing to travel within the national territory and abroad.

    • Strong oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

    • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
