    Position summary

    ssigned project(s) (functional reports)

    • Lead the design optimized substation & buildings layouts process integrating all the required equipment considering their installation, operation, and maintenance constraints

    • Interface with other disciplines and engineering trades

    • Answer to client, partners & suppliers technical queries related to plant engineering

    • Organize and perform projects design/gate reviews related to plant engineering & support other disciplines' ones when required.

    • Lead and manage change control impacting plant engineering deliverables & activities

    • Support continuous improvement within engineering discipline

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • A bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical/civil engineering or related discipline

    • Significant experience in engineering management for EPC project, ideally in primary design for substation, FACTS and HVDC projects

    • Strong knowledge on High Voltage substation international standards & guidelines (IEC, CIGRE...), local standards & guidelines (DIN, EC...) and related equipment

    • Strong knowledge on contract and project management, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC)

    • Minimum 4 years of experience in engineering management for EPC project, ideally in primary design for HVDC, FACTS, or substation projects

    • Good understanding of onshore civil engineering and offshore platform design and requirements

    • Leadership (management by influence), analytical mind, rigorous and commitment,

    • Professional English spoken and written, fluency in German is a plus

    • Mobility required (on-site visits or client meetings ~25% of the time)
