1. Position

Quality Inspector (QC)

2. Responsibilities

• Inspection of major HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) components (HEADER, HARP, MODULE, LINK, CASING, etc.)

• Incoming inspection of materials and products

• Visual and dimensional inspection of welds, hydrostatic test witnessing, and final shipment/packing inspection

• NDE sampling management, witnessing, and review of test reports

• Preparation and management of inspection records; review of subcontractor quality documents

• Nonconformance management (NCR issuance, Stop Work, etc.)

• Customer and third-party inspector interface (inspection witnessing, document submission, etc.)

• Participation in quality improvement initiatives and internal improvement projects

3. Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in related field

• Education: High school graduate or above (Associate degree preferred)

• Required Competencies:

  • Basic knowledge of welding and weld inspection
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents
  • Competence in preparing inspection reports and managing documentation
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Strong commitment to EHS and Quality compliance

• The company may request a medical examination or job-related test results, and employment may be withdrawn if such results are not submitted or are deemed unsuitable

4. Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification

• NDE certification (ASNT Level II or equivalent national certification)

• Quality control experience in manufacturing (especially HRSG, boilers, pressure parts, piping, etc.)

• Ability to understand English technical documents (drawings, procedures, etc.)

• Local residency preferred

• Willingness to quickly learn and apply new procedures and standards

• Strong communication skills and teamwork with production, suppliers, and customers
