    Position summary

    • Manage investigations, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

    • Ensure the inspection team are inspecting incoming parts and materials to meet established technical and quality requirements per established drawings and processes.

    • Utilize the Company's electronic engineering action request system to initiate necessary drawing and or design changes resulting from the incoming inspection process.

    • Create Inspection Plans for Quality Readiness for Prototypes and Routine Inspections

    • Manage material management and reporting programs related to NPI, COPQ, material rework, material review boards, etc.

    • Work together with cross-functional teams to solve quality and/or material issues. Sign off on supplier deviation requests

    • Take ownership for assigned lab areas, including rejected material and shop cleanliness

    • Deliver results as part of a team

    • Perform analytical activities and maintain quality metrics related to material inspection quality

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Quality, supplier quality, material inspection).

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Quality

    • Desired Characteristics

    • Knowledge/ability to read and understand CAD part drawings

    • ASQ Certification

    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Quality

    • Strong oral and written communication skills

    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

    • Ability to influence others and lead small teams

    • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact

    • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously

    • Effective problem identification and solution skills

    Proven analytical and organizational ability
