The role is focused on projects/events in Saudi (but not only) and require frequent travels to sites. During outage execution it will be required to stay on site.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Be regular contact point with customer at plant level to proactively understand customer needs and expectation
Support Sales Manager to identify opportunities
Support outage event budget preparation, schedule development, outage execution, post outage reporting, and outage warranty execution
Join and support customer pre outage and post outage meetings
Support project risk definition, analysis, and mitigation
Define competences and resources needed for outage execution and request them in the appropriate system
Support external resource definition and selection including interviews if necessary
Define tools needed for outage execution and request them in the appropriate system
Keep close contact with Resource Managers and Tooling centers to ensure resource and tools availability (including 3rd party resources and tools)
Ensure EHS standards at site are met by working with the Site EHS Specialists to develop and execute FME plans, customer requirements, and overall OneGE EHS plan compliance and completion
Implement corrective actions based upon Safety Observations, Advanced Communication Notifications, and Root Cause Analyses
Utilize in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
Lead the outages coordinating with Lead TFAs and other functions (internally) and with customer (externally)
Be responsible for identification of extra works and findings
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Support make or buy decision for local activities (including local supplier visits and expediting if needed)
Define and implement productivity actions and strategies on site
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
Review and approve the Field Service Report before submitting to customer
Support definition of recommendation to customer during and after (spare parts, future activities) the outage
Support CSL and CFMs to prepare Post Outage Review and Lesson Learnt
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
This role requires advanced experience in the Services & Outage Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Field Experience and knowledge of O&M Field Work Practices
Steam Turbine and Generator technical knowledge
Analytical mindset: demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
English proficiency required
Desired Characteristics
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
Arabic language spoken is a very important plus
