Required Qualifications**:**
Master's degree in engineering, physics, or closely related science discipline from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 12 years' of experience in nuclear radiological analysis, nuclear safety analysis and methods, or nuclear fuel, core, or plant design.
Minimum of 12 years' experience in coupled neutron/gamma shielding design for nuclear power plants, including the design of penetrations in shielding walls.
Minimum of 12 years' experience with MCNP for shielding analysis, including the use of variance reduction techniques to solve large scale deep penetration shielding problems.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in methods and application of computational neutral particle radiation transport theory.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be willing to Relocate to Wilmington, NC as required.

Desired Characteristics**:**
Ph.D in Nuclear Engineering or closely related discipline from an accredited college or university.
15+ years' of experience in nuclear radiological analysis, nuclear safety analysis, coupled neutron/gamma shielding design for nuclear power plants, experience with MCNP for shielding analysis.
Experience with BWR technology.
Knowledge of plant operational support.
Knowledge of reactor licensing requirements.
Experience with BWR simulator and use of 3-Dimensional neutron kinetics code (e.g., PANAC, PARCS).
Experience in reactivity control such as reactivity insertion accident, rod withdrawal error, control rod drop accident analyses.
Experience with MCNP, SCALE, KENO, ORIGN, and/or coupled Monte-Carlo/deterministic radiation transport methods.
Object-oriented programming experience such as Java, C#, C++.

The base pay range for this position is $112 - 160k. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 11/4/2024.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
