and deliver the sourcing targets including EAC management, project deflation, cash improvement, on time delivery, supplier base development, governance and compliance.
Manage the team to take PES project EAC ownership and supervise PPM/PSL/MTO project buyers to own MTO fully responsible especially on cost saving and delivery on time.
Drive and support all Regional ITO projects and RFQ Request from ITO team to ensure all ITO groups have effective strategic sourcing plans. Each plan should consider any location or product line-specific terms and conditions, and any delivery / quality / cost risk and variation tracking tools (the communication of these plans to operational personnel, Sales colleagues, suppliers, and clients will be critical to their successful implementation). Manage the team attending ITO kick-off meetings and risk reviews and verifying Sourcing risks have been identified and mitigated as much as possible.
Lead and support OTR execution and cost out, driving major Gas Turbine Upgrade and Outage Project Sourcing Teamwork, ensuring the flow-down of customer terms and conditions where required, identify and obtain as necessary deliverables from other departments such as Engineering, Quality and Procurement that are critical for bid compilation, if necessary arrange clarification meetings.
Identifies, develops, and implements project sourcing strategies. Drive business cost out and improve margin rate and supply base quality. Reduce risk in supply chain by minimizing single/sole source situations, reducing cycle time and ensuring delivery of quality services.
Drive operating metrics & rhythm to ensure deliverables & business objectives are achieved and aligned to GE Beliefs.
Drive PES transition in the region, Sourcing Process optimization, BTP process improvement
Delivering superior customer value by providing required service on time, at a savings and of highest quality effectively engaging the broader and cross functional team to meet business priorities.
Required Qualifications
Acceptable 30% travel is a must
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Technical, Supply Chain management or Engineering Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
Minimum 10 years of experience of Mechanical/Energy Industry Sourcing/procurement
Very strong customer service and results oriented mindset.
Demonstrated strong leadership, Proactive, Open mind, FastWorks, Six Sigma GB trained and certified (GE employees only).
