    Position summary

    ne financial results & operating plans (sales, profitability, market share)

    • Define, own and direct development budgets delivering on product launches to improve competitiveness.

    • Drive product standardization and simplification opportunities and support cross-business initiatives.

    • Understand competitor's product portfolio and offerings, including value proposition, differentiation, performance and cost, and benchmark against GE offerings.

    • Understand current and future market needs, by working with cross-functional teams.

    • Propose product improvements (cost, performance, constructability, delivery cycle, quality/reliability) to increase the value proposition and develop and own business cases when investment is needed.

    • Drive product commercialization, deployment, training, launch and promotion in liaison with marketing, sales, and regional teams.

    What you'll bring

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, business or equivalent from an accredited college or university or equivalent knowledge/experience.

    • Significant experience in product management, engineering, commercial operations, or project management in the power industry.

    • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Expertise in combined cycle power plants.

    • Strong oral and written communication skills, including executive level presentation skills.

    • Strong interpersonal skills and execution experience with international cross functional teams, able to interface effectively with all levels of an organization.

    • Domain expertise in steam turbines with a strong knowledge base in engineering design, services, and associated markets.

    • Experience with business development and strong customer service mindset.

    • Knowledge of power plant economics and power industry market dynamics across gas, coal, and nuclear applications

    For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $118,000 - $197,600 USD Annual.

    The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This Senior Professional Band position is also eligible for a variable incentive bonus of 15%.

    *The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
