    Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilites

    Supplier approval

    • The SQE conducts, in collaboration with the CL (Commodity Leader), the commodity assessments in order to check the supplier capability (experience, project management, manufacturing ability, quality system, EHS...)

    • He explains GE process, qualification requirements and ensures their application

    Product qualification :

    • The SQE guarantees the conformity of the parts and delivery date

    • The SQE is the supplier primary interface regarding the qualification steps for product/supplier/manufacturing site

    • He participates to the design reviews, approves the MPP (Manufacturing Process Plan) and the PQP (Product Quality Plan) before 1st piece released

    • He audits the product manufacturing, conducts final inspection, checks quality documentation and authorizes shipment in accordance with the qualification team

    Supplier Quality performance tracking (quality first and on time delivery)

    • He is in charge of COFs (Cost Of Failure) for the suppliers in his scope for FPQ and serial production with the support of PQE teams (CSQ et GSC) through audits (product, process, quality, compliance...)

    • He manages the supplier deviation request (SDR)

    • He address, to the right supplier, the defect detected at assembly sites and checks their responsibility

    • He ensures, for the major defects, the correction and the containment of the defect, the root cause analysis and the corrective and preventive actions deployment

    • He assists the CL (Commodity Leader) during VR reviews (Vendor Recovery)

    Basic requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college in mechanical, manufacturing or material engineering

    • Fluent English knowledge is essential

    • Significant industrial experience in Quality, Manufacturing or Supplier Development functions

    • Ability to travel

    • Strong analyze, synthesis and communication abilities

    Desired characteristic:

    • Invest casting skills and experienced

    • Welding process or skilled

    • Certified auditor (IATC or IRCA)

    • RCA leader certified

    • Additional foreign language(s)

    • 6 Sigma Green Belt certified


    Rôles et responsabilités

    Approbation des fournisseurs :

    • Il conduit avec l'acheteur les commodity assessments pour vérifier la capabilité des fournisseurs (expérience, gestion de projet, moyens de fabrication, système qualité ; EHS...)

    • Il explique aux fournisseurs le processus GE, les requis qualification et s'assure de leur application

    Qualification des produits :

    • Il est le garant de la conformité finale des pièces et des délais de mise à disposition

    • Le SQE est l'interface privilégiée du fournisseur dans le cadre des étapes conduisant à la qualification produit/fournisseur/lieu de fabrication

    • Il participe aux revues de conception, approuve le MPP (Manufacturing Process Plan) et le PQP (Product Quality Plan) avant le lancement de la 1ère pièce

    • Il audit la fabrication, conduit l'inspection finale, valide la documentation associée et autorise la livraison en accord avec l'équipe de qualification

    Suivi de la performance Qualité des fournisseurs

    • Il est responsable de la maitrise des coûts de non-qualité (COF) de ses Fournisseurs (FPQ et vie série) avec le support des équipes PQE (CSQ et GSC) au travers des audits (produit, procédé, qualité, requis réglementaire...)

    • Il gère les demandes de déviations des fournisseurs (SDR : Supplier Deviation Request)

    • Il adresse aux fournisseurs concernés les défauts constatés sur le site de production et vérifie leur responsabilité

    • Il assure, pour les défauts majeurs, la correction, la rétention du défaut, l'analyse des causes et le déploiement des actions correctives et préventives associées

    • Il assiste le CL (Commodity Leader) durant la négociation de recouvrement du COF (VR : Vendor Recovery)

    Qualifications requises

    • Ingénieur diplômé Mécanique, Matériaux ou Génie des procédés de fabrication

    • Anglais courant

    • Expérience industrielle significative impérativedans les fonctions de Qualité, de Fabrication ou de développement des fournisseurs

    • Aptitude à voyager

    • Forte capacités d'analyse, de synthèse et de communication

    Caractéristiques souhaitées

    • Connaissances du procédé de fonderie de précision et expérience dans le domaine appréciée

    • Connaissances des procédés de soudage

    • Auditeur Certifié IATC ou IRCA

    • RCA leader certifié

    • Langue(s) étrangère(s) additionnelle(s)

    • Certifié 6 Sigma Green Belt
