    Project Layouts and Recommendations

    • Validate developer reports and inputs to perform accurate wind resource assessments.

    • Recommend Met Mast locations for new project sites, providing suggestions to optimize the efficiency of wind farms.

    • Micro-site and optimize project layouts by completing multiple iterations to finalize designs aimed at reducing wakes and curtailment and maximizing the capacity and energy output of proposed projects.

    Technical Due Diligence Assistance

    • Assist different regional development engineering team leads by providing timely inputs as required in the due diligence process.

    • Identify potential wind farm sites globally and conduct pre-feasibility studies on proposed sites, ensuring optimal conditions for wind energy generation.

    Met Mast and LIDAR Portfolio Management

    • Manage the wind raw data portfolio, comprising met masts and LIDARS as it grows within the company.

    • Provide guidance on wind mast and LIDAR installation and maintenance.

    Process Management and Quality Control

    • Manage GE Vernova Financial Services processes including standard work on operations and quality control. Be the accountable person for driving improvement and efficiency gains as process owner.

    • Implement systems of work to ensure quality is best in class and in line with interfacing business functions systems of work.

    Field Visits and Training

    • Conduct field site visits as required for project assessments.

    • Participate in external and internal training to stay abreast of best-in-class wind resource data bases and evaluation procedures.

    Skills & Expertise:

    • Deep knowledge and understanding of wind resource assessment domain including different data sets, processes, data collection, analysis, modelling, and energy estimating.

    • Proficient in wind resource assessment tools such as OpenWind, WindPRO, WindSTUDIO, WAsP, and mesoscale modeling software.

    • Broad geographical exposure

    • Expertise in optimizing wind farm layouts and validating technical reports.

    • Ability to handle technical and stakeholder queries, offering practical solutions for energy optimization.

    • Familiarity with the latest industry trends and tools to enhance assessment accuracy and efficiency.

    • Experience in driving process optimisation, ideally with a lean background.

    • Ability to autonomously evaluate quality of own and others work.
