Job Description Summary
The Advanced Quality Leader is an executive role within the GE Aerospace Quality Organization that will provide strategic and technical leadership for Advanced Quality Processes as they apply to new product development, product and process change, and ongoing continuous improvement. The Advanced Quality Leader will partner across the business to drive collaboration and accountability to reduce and prevent issues. The individual will lead a team focused on proactive problem-solving with a continuous improvement mindset.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Process owner for embedding quality into Producibility and New Product Development processes and systems, focused on design for manufacturability.
- Collaborate with Business Leaders and Stakeholders on Quality related Hoshin Kanri -Breakthrough Objectives and Top-Level Improvement Priorities.
- Develop and drive Advanced Product Quality Planning standards and lead horizontal action plan to grow advanced quality across engineering, operations, and supply chain.
- Represent Quality in NPI decisions and development, supporting new product development project tollgate reviews.
- Support the launch of products into Supply Chain and source changes in Sourcing to make sure that products can be produced at desired quality and rate.
- Champion the Lean Transformation within the Quality organization, providing subject matter expertise on methods and tools such as Problem Solving. Provide technical inputs and review updates to Quality procedures
- Work with Quality Excellence Program (QEP) Council and other Aerospace learning organizations to develop interactive learning experiences to meet the changing needs of the quality organization and broader business. Provide inputs on goals and content for the Quality Excellence Program

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of 8 years of Quality or New Product Introduction experience in global manufacturing industry
- Must have the ability to travel up to 35%
Desired:
- Graduate Degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business Administration from an accredited college or university
- Outstanding ability to interact and engage at all levels of the organization - from the shop floor to senior leadership
- Proven leader in driving Continuous Improvement, functioning as a change agent in an industrial environment with demonstrated results
- Strong program and project management skills
- Strong understanding of engineering and design principles
- Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker
