Execute the analysis or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles
Developing in-depth knowledge of a finite element analysis (FEA) as it applies to mechanical stress analysis
Contribute to the engineering design of some of the most advanced aerospace systems from idea through flight.
Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve engineering problems.
Able to communicate results clearly to peers, leadership, and the customer.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from an accredited university or college
3-5 years of experience in mechanical stress analysis with a finite element software
Must be able to work onsite . . . this role cannot be supported remotely.
This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
