Support implementation of initial Model Based Sustainment / Model Based Product Support capabilities on DoD propulsion system programs
Partner with GE Digital Technology teams to align digital Integrated Product Support strategies with business priorities and funding
Work collaboratively across multiple Edison Works organizations, including Reliability Engineering, Maintainability Engineering, Supportability Engineering and Product Support teams to identify software capabilities required to meet customer defined scope and deliverables
Develop strategies, processes and planning to procure, deploy and integrate various software tools, both internally within GE and externally with customers
Derive functional requirements from internal and external stakeholders, assess technical documentation, build use case definitions, and drive priority with cross-functional teams
Identify requirement gaps and process shortfalls; take initiative to resolve gaps and shortfalls
Perform daily, weekly and monthly management oversight utilizing GE Aerospace's FLIGHT DECK principles to drive team progress and achieve defined program milestones and objectives
Leads functional teams and/or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of relevant experience)
Ability to develop strategies, planning activities, and processes with minimum oversight in order to support a customer-driven digital integrated product support strategy
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product, program, project or operations management related to the role responsibilities, IT requirements definition, implementation, and integration within a business enterprise
This role is restricted to U.S. Citizens
Must have or qualify for a U.S. Government Secret Clearance
Ability to work full-time, on-site at GE Aerospace headquarters in Cincinnati, OH; due to security requirements there are restricted work from home or remote opportunities
Desired Characteristics
Familiarity with Model Based Enterprises, Model Based Systems Engineering and Systems Modelling tools, such as the SysML Cameo software suite
Master's degree from an accredited college or university
Prior experience working in the Aviation Industry
A minimum of 4 years of military or DoD related industry experience
Strong understanding of U.S. military organizations, maintenance and sustainment processes and procedures, and the DoD's Integrated Product Support elements
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to interface and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
Established project management skills
Current / Active US Secret security clearance
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
