Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide strategic HR leadership for the following client groups - Commercial Engines & Services, Defense & Systems, Propulsion & Additive Technologies, Corporate Development, Strategy
Ensure comprehensive, contemporary, and effective HR strategies are executed in support of a diverse and global workforce
Lead, and motivate the HR team, including but not limited to talent acquisition, talent development, succession planning, retention, learning, employee engagement, and total rewards
Work closely with the leadership team to develop a strategic workforce plan, building key skills and a pipeline for critical talent across all global locations
Champion FLIGHT DECK methodologies to build organizational capabilities, contain cost, reduce inefficiencies and waste, and maximize performance across the business and HR function
Oversee and enhance a robust talent management strategy, relying on data and analytics to fulfill the organizations' business strategies, including leadership in Inclusion & Diversity initiatives
Develop appropriate human resource plans in support of key business needs in a dynamic, changing environment and develop/implement appropriate change management plans as required
Advise, coach, counsel, and provide candid feedback to People Leaders
Drive an HR strategy that delivers business results while promoting employee advocacy
Facilitate communications throughout the organization and act as an employee advocate to ensure that all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment
Ensure that routine and complex employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated, and resolved to drive and promote a work environment that is compliant
Qualifications/ Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a variety of Human Resource or related positions
Desired Characteristics:
Master's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial / Labor Relations or Business Administration from and accredited college or university
Demonstrated influencing and relationship building skills at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated experience developing & executing broad organizational strategies
Successful experience developing and coaching both senior leadership and HR talent
Driven leader who sets high standards, possesses a positive outlook, is a continuous learner, and will roll up sleeves to get the job done
Ability to energize and lead in complex, matrix, goal-driven organizations
Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, high performance work environment and create a positive, team-oriented culture
Passionate, employee advocate who wants to make a difference in the organization by helping employees succeed
Capable of handling multiple issues and/or projects simultaneously and executing to completion
Supportive team player with ability to diffuse a tense situation
Able to apply sound judgment ensuring integrity, compliance, & confidentiality
Strong interest in innovative HR solutions and Lean/continuous improvement
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Detailed-oriented with excellent organizational & documentation skills
PHR/SPHR certification skills.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay for this position is $152,300 - 253,800 USD Annual. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on January 29, 2025.
