Form project teams for systems, software, test equipment and hardware development.
Develop integrated schedules with cost and staffing requirements.
Managing external technology component and sub-system suppliers including authoring Statements of Work.
Lead engineering content for gate reviews (Tollgates) and participate in fact-finding meetings with customers.
Support or lead various management meetings and report to senior/executive leadership.
Develop and revise engineering project plans, managing scope, schedule, and cost changes.
Monitor and report project performance, including key metrics and variances.
Develop and execute risk management plans and assist in mentoring junior Engineering Project Managers.
Communicate business goals, programs, and processes effectively and solve problems using experience or expertise.
Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments, focusing on safety and reliability.
Communicate with customers on project performance and schedule
Communicate with GE management on project technical, cost, resource, and schedule
Lead responses to proposals for both technical direction, writeups and cost estimates.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or technical field from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications
Avionics Design and Development experience
Knowledge of Data Transfer Systems products or Platform Computing products
Prior NPI project or program management experience with
Past experience leading a multi-disciplined NPI project through its full life cycle.
PMP certification.
Experience with systems, hardware, and software design.
Demonstrated successful leadership by influence in a multi-domain organization
Experience building effective teams and managing projects.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Location:
Primary location is Clearwater FL. Grand Rapids MI is also acceptable. This is an onsite opportunity that includes flexibility to work Hybrid/Remote 1-2 days a week when possible.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
