Team with contract engineers and outside engineering/architectural consultants to put together design specifications and drawings for construction packages
Provide direction to Tinsmiths, Pipefitters, Mechanics, Technicians, and other staff disciplines to support projects and maintenance efforts
Assume ownership of mechanical systems within specific buildings on campus
Perform field work to validate existing systems, databases and record drawings with as-built conditions

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Facilities Mechanical Engineering
US citizenship is required

12 years of experience in Facility Engineering
AutoCAD proficient
Working knowledge of NFPA, OSHA and New York State Building Code
Ability to handle multiple diverse activities simultaneously
Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team projects
Strong organizational skills

Strong project and team leadership
HAP or other HVAC load calculation software proficiency
Honeywell and Automate Logic Experience
Experience directing a represented workforce
New York State Professional Engineering license
Revit Proficient
PLC and VFD experience
The base pay range for this position is $77,300 - $128,800 USD Annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on December 18, 2024
