    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering)

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering

    • This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Strong troubleshooting background to the component level

    • Lean Manufacturing experience & desire to expand Lean mindset within the organization

    • Experience with 480V electrical systems

    • Familiarity with power electronics, electric motors, and electric power conversion concepts

    • Experience with high speed / high power motor and gearbox systems

    • Experience in installing/modify PLC's and PLC logic.

    • Prior work experience in aerospace power generation / conversion products

    • Experience with AC and DC motors and their drives

    • Prior project management experience

    • Technical writing skills
