mary interface between supplier and GE Avio Aero for any quality issues. Work in collaboration with Sourcing and Engineering, Manufacturing to eliminate roadblocks and barrier. Develop compliance solutions to complex problems. Lead RCCA process
Approve supplier selection through robust qualification processes and part qualification
Ensure that suppliers comply with quality requirements, including technical regulation and standards by owning the surveillance and perform quality audits
Proactive monitoring of the performance of suppliers to ensure that they remain in a state of control
Leading the effort to drive improvement and for the development & assessment of quality metrics, KPIs and reports associated with suppliers
Participate to new source introduction assessment providing technical support to Sourcing team and APQP execution when it is needed
suppliers Quality Plan implementation
Propose technical solutions to suppliers and design team
Qualifications/Requirements
Master's degree in Mechanics or Materials/Chemical engineering with metallurgical orientation
Investment Casting process knowledge
Proven experience in the same role in Automotive or aerospace industries
Ability to read fluently technical drawing and regulations
Basic knowledge of Quality tools
Base knowledge of measurement method and inspection technique
Fluency in English
Availability to frequent travel, EU and abroad
Work Visa and Italian Citizenship in accordance with local regulation is required
