Job Description

The Cultural Integration Leader for GE Digital will lead the development and implementation of the cultural assessment process and integration within GE Digital and across the Digital thread for all acquisition activities.

Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for the cultural integration of newly acquired business into GE Digital and bridging the cultural divide in the Digital thread, helping to align GE Digital into one culture. Coordinate all the Cultural assessment initiatives for global inorganic opportunities across GE Digital, with a focus on the integration activities from Due Diligence through deal Integration.
In this role you will: 

  • Develop and deploy cultural assessment and integration tool kits 
  • Drive development of global cultural integration plans, both for employees and leadership.  
  • Work with external organizations to ensure our process remain cutting edge by incorporating the latest thinking and best practices 
  • In partnership with the acquisition leadership and communications, develop and drive a cultural framework and a campaign to engage employees to drive business growth and financial results  
  • Drive the engagement of employees from both companies before and after closing 
  • Design a menu of offerings to support the smooth integration of employees 
  • Develop relationships with P&L teams to help bridge the cultural gap between GE digital and the P&Ls in new digital acquisitions located in the Digital thread 
  • Support newly acquired leadership teams in leading the cultural transformation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accreted college or university 
  • 10+ years of experience in Change Management, Organizational Effectiveness/Development, Human Factor Engineering or similar role 
  • Ability to travel as needed 

Eligibility Requirements: 

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job 
  • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen 
  • Must be willing to work out of an office located in San Ramon, CA

    This role is open to any location in the United States
  • Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 
  • 3+ years in developing and deploying Organizational change in a global organization 
  • Prior M&A integration experience 
  • Change agent; able to confront ambiguity, and steady under pressure 
  • Ability to build relationships, trust, and interface effectively across multiple organizations 
  • Ability to navigate effectively in a highly matrix environment 
  • Proven ability to engage, listen to, and welcome employees as part of cultural integration. 
  • Strong coaching skills to assimilate managers and employees through change  
  • Clear and critical thinker, with the ability to translate strategies into actionable plans and align HR priorities to business needs
