Job Description

As the Lead AP Analyst you will manage a team of 5-10 Accounts Payable analysts as well the relationship with key GE suppliers. You will be the central point of contact for contract management, issue resolution and escalation management, process improvement, compliance and controllership, and account reconciliation approvals.


    • Develop relationships with key GE suppliers to deliver world class service at a reduced


    • Coach, lead and develop direct reports regarding functional expertise, GE beliefs and Culture.


    • Be a steward for change management. Be able to effectively influence stakeholders, business
      partners and cross functional leaders to drive process improvements.


    • Act as the primary contact & functional expert for your work stream or deliverables; advise
      & support the project in relation to your area of functional expertise.


    • Serve as the first point of contact for issue resolution and escalation with the various GE
      businesses we partner with on particular enterprise standard or process. Identify process
      improvements and lead process improvement efforts utilizing lean six sigma methodologies and
      quality rigor.


    • Drive financial oversight of internal billing and third party invoicing. Coordinate cross-functional
      and business interaction to execute and deliver results.


    • Partner with others to drive third party management including scorecards, quality, cost and
      productivity metrics, and internal audits.


  • Drive compliance and adherence to policy through document management


      • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/ GED
        with at least 6 years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations). 
      • Minimum
        5+ years of relevant work experience in Finance, Accounting or other specific [Enterprise standard
        of reference} and 4 years of people management experience
    • Demonstrated team player with collaborative and influencing skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to create operational guidelines and metrics to facilitate strong process
    • Strong influencing and facilitation skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
    • Strong analytical and data manipulation skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel
