As a Senior Engineer, IT Lab Support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our labs operate efficiently, securely, and in full alignment with regulatory and quality standards. Your work will directly enable our scientists to focus on what matters most: advancing breakthrough therapies.

    Responsibilities

    • Independently manage and execute key activities related to laboratory IT systems to ensure the smooth, reliable operation of lab equipment, workstations, and supporting infrastructure.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on lab-related IT matters, ensuring timely, effective resolution of issues.

    • Optimize and refine standardized IT processes within the laboratory environment to improve efficiency, compliance, and overall user experience.

    • Collaborate on the coordination of IT projects, ensuring that lab system upgrades, migrations, and integrations meet requirements for GLP, GDPR, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.

    • Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and outcomes during project and team meetings, contributing to transparency and alignment across IT and lab operations.

    • Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing technical expertise to system enhancements, upgrades, and long-term operational strategies.

    • Develop and maintain essential technical documentation, including system configurations, SOPs, and architecture diagrams to ensure consistency, compliance, and knowledge sharing.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

    • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in IT engineering, ideally within laboratory or similarly technical environments.

    • Proven experience supporting the delivery, reliability, and maintenance of IT systems in lab settings.

    • Strong problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated capacity to optimize and streamline engineering processes.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with stakeholders across multiple teams.

    • Working knowledge of IT security standards, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements, including GLP and GDPR.
