Internship Program Overview:

Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with a meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. As an intern at GF, you’ll experience one-on-one mentorship, work assignments that prioritize your growth and potential, professional development opportunities, and the chance to network with executives.

Summary of Role:

This is a project-based role with routine tasks.  The project assignment for this role may be focused on streamlining processes, creating standardized reports and / or improving efficiency.  Routine tasks may be associated with running / publishing daily reports and reconciliations. This internship position will be based out of and support our Malta, NY location.

Essential Responsibilities**:**     

• Work collaboratively with finance teams
• Provide formal weekly update to finance manager on progress
• Formal end of project presentation to finance management team and internship program
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications**:**        

• Education –Junior or Senior in Fall 2023, majoring in Accounting or Finance from an accredited College and or University 
• Experience – must have some work background, not necessarily related to this role
• Travel – (5% of travel may be required)
• Language Fluency – English
• Physical Capacity Demands – None

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.S or MBA candidate in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or other related discipline from an accredited University or College.
• Detailed working knowledge of the Excel and PowerPoint applications within Microsoft Office. 
• Some previous experience in finance or accounting
