What You'll Do
Develop 12V/48V component and electrical systems models using tools like Saber, Spice, Matlab and Simulink
Perform electrical circuit analysis to deliver design solutions which are robust and reliable utilizing optimization and statistical methods when appropriate
Work collaboratively with Electrical Architects, AVDC teams, Program teams and Component Hardware Design teams to ensure system requirements are met, design concepts are evaluated, and development and validation plans are successful
Lead new analysis capability development projects for hardware reduction
Document new standard procedures
Develop requirements for supplier models, document Appendix G4 and upload them in eSOR
Ensure on time delivery of high-quality results

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
5+ Yrs of experience with analysis, design and/or testing of electrical components and sub-systems with electrified and/or conventional vehicles
Experience in Synopsys Saber Product or comparable Electrical system Analysis tool products like Spice, Simplorer, Plecs Matlab and Simulink
Excellent understanding of electrical systems, controls and component development & validation
Excellent understanding and application of engineering theory and principles of operation for electrical mechanisms
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering
Experience with development and usage of CAE/CAD tools
Black belt in performing DFSS analysis
