Job Description
The Role
GM is looking for a Visualization SW Developer to help us define the driver experience for our next generation ADAS vehicles. In this role, you will partner with System Engineering team, cross-team software engineers, and other stakeholders across GM UltraCruise. Your work will focus on the SW design and implementation of many of the visualization communication message to allow seamless customer experience
Responsibilities
SW design and SW code development
Analyze and negotiate requirements with System Engineering
Multiple interaction with other SW teams
Integration activities between ECUs (with VCU team) to allow end 2 end visualization solution
Test and integrate all level of code (Unit-test, System test, etc).
Apply solid technical understanding, critical reasoning and a structured approach to solving problems in both familiar and unfamiliar domains

Requirements
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related engineering field and 2+ years of engineering experience
Proficiency in C++, ideally C++11/14
Familiarity with SW development over Linux environment
The ability to quickly produce clear, testable code
Strong communication, teamwork and problem solving skills, balancing the timeliness of solutions with their sustainability. Able to prioritize competing demands based on business value.
Desire to work closely with in-house engineers to prototype, develop, and support solutions
Desired Skills
Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related engineering field
5+ years of engineering experience
