Job Description
Within GM, Global Connected Services (GCS) and Customer Experience (CX) focus on providing world class customer experiences and maximizing the value delivered by connected vehicle services such as OnStar, SiriusXM and the MyBrand App. The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) operates to provide analytics, data and business intelligence support to businesses across the company. At the intersection of these two, the CDAO business facing team leverages both business and technical knowledge to deliver value to CX and GCS. This position will partner with the business to deliver data and analytic support GCS sales and marketing initiatives. A critical component of the role is to deliver insights that enable strategic decision making and future investment.

Roles and Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for KPI measurement, including frequent updates to the business unit, quantifying the impacts of new initiatives, root causing changes in performance, working with IT to ensure accuracy of data, and frequent ad hoc analyses
- You will help create work related to strategy, roadmap, critical metric definition, reporting and dashboards.
- You will support analytical projects from conception to completion with high velocity and quality, be cognizant of status, roadblocks and pace of project throughout and escalate as necessary to ensure success and on-time delivery to business partners.

- You will 'tell the story' within the data, clearly communicating findings to enable strategic and operational decisions, and making recommendations on further actions

ADDITIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Required Qualification:
- 7+ years of experience translating business needs to analytic solutions, influencing decisions through turning raw data into compelling stories, and completing the project life cycle through achieving measurable outcomes.
- 3+ years of leadership experience leading an analytics team
- Proven experience working with complex data and analytics projects as the primary liaison with business partners/leaders
- A proclivity for quantitative concepts, including academic/professional experience in one or more of the following fields: computer science, mathematics, finance, statistics, physics, engineering, biostatistics, cognitive or neurosciences, behavioral economics, econometrics
- Ability to develop & maintain relationships with business stakeholders, partially through accountability, following up on requests and delivering on commitments. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure project success.
- Thrives in a collaborative atmosphere and believe in the power of innovation through differing viewpoints
- Ability to quickly ramp up on new domains and understand business needs
- Strong business domain knowledge - customer experience, contact center performance, business analytics, sales/marketing analytics
- Expertise in creating consumption data assets and deploying reports using BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI or Cognos
- Expertise in programming languages such as SQL, Python or R
- Bachelors' Degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualification:
- Advanced Analytics: Hands-on experience with predictive modeling, segmentation, AI/ML and other advanced methods.
- Analytical experience in supporting a subscription business
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field
